The colored and numbered areas on the map below show the areas where the District is responsible for landscaping.  The District is also responsible for all landscaping and irrigation in the medians on Coal Mine Avenue from Simms Street to Ward Road.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities the District has for each of the numbered areas varies:

  1. All landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal.  All sidewalk repair.
  2. Irrigation system.  Trees and grass south of the sidewalk.  No snow removal.  No landscape beds.  No benches.
  3. Irrigation system.  Grass and landscape beds.  Trees on the north side of the sidewalk and in the landscape beds.  No snow removal.  No benches.
  4. All landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal.  All sidewalk repair.
  5. All landscaping and irrigation.
  6. All landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal.  All sidewalk repair.
  7. All landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal.  All sidewalk repair.  All benches.
  8. All landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal from the street to the edge of the fence.  All benches.
  9. All landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal from the street to the edge of the fence.  All benches.
  10. Weed control on the retaining wall and the stone area below the retaining wall.  Both are on the south side of the fence.
